The Mass Fragmentation tool splits molecules across a selected bond and creates fragments corresponding to the fragmentation that would have occurred in a Mass spec experiment. The Synthesis tool produces a reaction in which the original structure is the product, and the fragments formed by breaking the bond are the reactants. The Retrosynthesis tool produces a reaction in which the original structure is the reactant, and the fragments formed by breaking the bond are the products.
