Live Single-Cell Mass Spectrometry 2

Live Single-Cell Mass Spectrometry 2

We can detect molecules in a living single cell by this method and can identify the molecules by MS/MS. The Histamine was selectively existing in a micro granule of an RBL-2H3 cell. Other molecules were also identified with its site specificity. This method is the first success of direct molecular detection and identification from a living single cell.
