Is there anywhere where I could download this short clip. I’d like to use it for a presentation, but internet connection is sketchy at best.

    Thanks.

It’s partially so that kids will know what the signs of stroke are. Also, it’s so damn catchy that most anyone will remember it, and thusly said signs.

It is such a stark contrast to the F. A. S. T. campaign they use in the United Kingdom.

This is probably among the best PSA’s ever made. While it may seem wrong to make an amusing commercial about something as serious as a stroke, the fact that it is entertaining and people actually want to see it means people are paying attention. By holding the public’s attention, hopefully they will learn something. Having a stroke is a serious matter, but the goal of the DPH should be to inform, and this commercial does this very very well. Bof fri fleu.

It important that the public gets educated on the complications that can happen due to a stroke. My Grandmother died of a stroke a couple of days ago she did not get the drug to reverse the symptoms of a stroke. So, she suffered and eventually died. So, this video is of great importance. People need to be educated on strokes and what to do.

Dude is a unisex term, or rather it can be used as a unisex term. It also rolls off of the tongue much better than “dudette.”

First of all I am a woman not a DUDE! But you have made a good point. Some times funny helps you remember it.

Dude, chill, this is a serious PSA put out my MA Dept of health. It’s not our fault that they did a terrible job of making it serious. I guess if they made it funny, it would be well remembered, ya know?
